Personalised Wooden Garden Sign | Custom Engraved Plant Marker & Rustic Pine Stake

Every garden has a story worth telling — and that's what this personalised garden sign is really about. Not just a name on a wooden plant marker, but your story, cut into pine and made just for you.

Maybe it's a bookworm munching his way through your veg patch. Maybe it's the apple tree you planted the year your first grandchild was born. Maybe it's a fox curled up guarding your herbs, or your dog's name above his favourite digging spot. Whatever it is, I'll design it, cut it, and engrave it — one piece, one story, made once and never repeated.

I work from my little workshop in Devon, at the foot of Dartmoor, shaping each custom garden sign from Scandinavian redwood pine by hand. I don't work from a catalogue of fixed designs — you tell me the idea, even a rough one, and I'll turn it into a shape and an engraved plant marker that's entirely yours.

How it works

• Tell me your idea — a shape, a character, a scene, or just a feeling you want the sign to capture
• I'll design and laser-cut the sign to that shape, not just a standard rectangle
• Your wording is engraved into the wood, permanent and weatherproof
• Every sign is sanded smooth, sealed for the British weather, and finished with its own rustic pine stake

The details

• Material: Scandinavian redwood pine, rustic and warm-toned
• Approx. size: 320mm tall x 135mm wide (can flex depending on design)
• Shape: genuinely custom — apple, leaf, heart, animal, character, or anything you can describe
• Engraving: your own wording, laser engraved so it lasts
• Finish: hand-sanded smooth and sealed against the British weather, weatherproof for year-round outdoor use
• Comes with its own solid pine plant stake, ready to push straight into soil, a pot, or a raised bed
• Handmade to order, one at a time, in my Devon workshop
