About Us

Moon Groves is a laser cutting and engraving workshop at Units RL19-20 (formerly Unit 1A), David's Lane, The Clay Factory, Redlake Trading Estate, Ivybridge, Devon PL21 0EZ. We cut and engrave with a professional CO₂ laser on wood, plywood, reclaimed slate, Italian leather, acrylic, Corian, glass and anodised or powder-coated metal, and our new fibre laser marks bare stainless steel and other metals (orders taken now, made from late October). We're open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and until 8pm on Wednesdays. The easiest way to reach us is WhatsApp on 07790 942348, or email Hello@MoonGroves.com. If you'd like to visit or collect, please message us first, as the site has secure gates.

From the Amazon Grind to the Joy of Creation

For years, my life was defined by the relentless pace of Amazon FBA — managing a large warehouse 7 days a week. We were making money, but we had no time to live. I realised that the creative process — the "creation of lived values" — was more important than just moving boxes. After a sudden platform ban threatened our livelihood, I took control. I bought a laser, moved to the historic Clay Factory at Redlake Trading Estate in Ivybridge, Devon, and Moon Groves was born.

Who We Are

I lead this project as a South African ex-Platoon Sergeant, bringing military discipline and years of design expertise to every project. Based at the foot of Dartmoor in Ivybridge, we are part of a vibrant family of artisans and makers. Moon Groves isn't just a shop — it's a brand built on mindfulness, named in honour of my very best friend.

What We Do

We use a professional CO₂ laser to design, cut, engrave, and etch, and a new fibre laser to mark bare metal such as stainless steel (orders taken now, made from late October). We work with everything from hardwoods and exotic timbers to metal, slate, glass, and leather.

• Personalised Gifts: Engraved serving boards, signs, keepsakes, memorial pieces — made to order for people across the UK.
• Bespoke Signage: Custom laser-cut and engraved signs for homes, businesses, and events.
• Laser Services: Design, cutting, engraving and etching services for other makers and creatives.
