Your Bulldog is not a small part of the house. They are the reason the walks happen in the rain, the reason the lead lives by the door, and the reason we could never make another nameless block of wood with a hook stuck on it.

We love our animals, and we love this work. The two are not separate, which is why this wall hook took the time it did. It is cut from a 20mm slab of Scandinavian redwood pine, shaped rather than squared off, and laser engraved with your Bulldog's name in our workshop at the foot of Dartmoor. Their face can go on it too — a Bulldog from our library, or a portrait from a photograph you send us. A little piece of them, waiting by the door for the next walk.

How We Make It Yours

Add your dog's name at checkout. Choose a Bulldog illustration, or send a photo and we will engrave a portrait instead. We email you a free digital proof before anything goes near the laser, so you can check it is spot on, ask for a tweak, and only then do we cut.

The Wood & Finish

190 × 140mm, and a full 20mm thick. Solid Scandinavian redwood — chunky enough to feel like a proper piece of furniture, not a bit of ply from a packet.

• Clear Scandinavian Pine — sealed with Osmo Polyx-Oil. The grain stays pale and open, the surface goes silky, and the oil soaks in rather than sitting on top like varnish. The wood can still breathe. A wet lead after a rainy walk is not a drama. Kind around animals too, which matters to us.
• Antique Dark Oak — finished with Osmo Hard Wax. Matt, warm, a little old-world. The colour of a well-loved piece in a farmhouse hallway. Same protection, just a richer, softer look.

Both are the good oils — natural waxes, no plastic film, nothing that will chip or peel in a year. You will still feel wood under your fingers.
